Taste 4 stars When you'd like to eat pizza at the center of Padua, please come here. Pizzaiolo from Naples bake delicious Neapolitan pizza. The unique and delicious dough contributes to a good combination of tomatoes and mozzarella. Their original simple but tasty pizza is very popular among local people of Padua.

Neapolitan pizza is delicious, right?!

Where can we eat delicious pizza in the center of Padua? If you ask me, I recommend definitely here. It's a very personal opinion, but I prefer Neapolitan pizza than Roman pizza. Thick and tasty dough outstands the combination of mozzarella and tomatoes topping. The pizza dough has its own special taste. Simple but delicious taste of dough is a barometer of good pizza. You can eat such Neapolitan pizza here in Padua as well.

The owners and Pizzaiolo come from Sorrento in southern Italy

The owners of this pizzeria are two brothers who come from Sorrento, Mr. Gaetano and Mr. Modesto. Gaetano works in the service hall and Modesto bakes pizza as a Pizzaiolo. They have a particularity of Southern Italians like keen eyes and dark skin. They are also very friendly. Now, after 25 years of holding this restaurant in the center of Padua, they became quite familiar to local people. Every day (especially dinner time) it's almost full. It's a good restaurant to come with friends and family.

A various menu of pizza. Particularly I recommend ...

They have plenty of variety of pizza, of course. Oil-based pizza without tomato sauce "Pizza speciali Bianche" and small deformation pizza "Fagottini" etc.. Looking the menu will be irresistible. Especially I recommend you to taste one pizza from the category of "Le Napoletane DOC". This group's pizza dough is fermented by natural yeast and its elasticity and flavor are exellent. Of course the dough is moderately thick. You can enjoy the unique taste of "glutinous" and "soft" Neapolitan pizza. It's too difficult to express!! Here it's necessary to put Mozzarella Buffala (buffalo), tomato, and basil: a typical "Pizza Margherita". It's also important to eat knowing every single material. The origin of the name is Queen Margherita, who loved this pizza very much. In this category it's recommended also another simple one "Pizza Reggina", with topping of Mozzarella Buffala, tomato, basil, cherry tomatoes and Parmesan cheese. "Reggina" means queen, just because a dish of dignity.

Please choose southern Italian dishes

Here is also Ristorante, so besides pizza you can take also starters, pasta and main dish etc. (However, most customers order a pizza.) If you cannot wait until the pizza would be baked, it's a good idea to try some starters. Enjoy southern Italian cuisine in Padua. My recommendation is Eggplant dumplings, "Porpettine di Meranzane". It's fried eggplant filled with salty fried donuts. The ideal dish with a glass of cold beer!!

It's located at the highlight of Padua, near the Church of St. Anthony

It's near the Church of St. Anthony, known as a major tourist attraction in Padua, especially famous among European Catholics. It's facing the Via G. Galilei, where there is a house of Galilee during his stay in Padua.

from ITALY
