It takes 5 minutes by walk from the Sant'Ambrogio stop of the Metro Green Line (Linea 2). It’s located adjacent to a large square in front of a church. This museum was opened in 1953 to introduce the development of industrial technology and scientific thinking.

The building was originally used as a monastery from the 11th to the 16th century. Now there are lots of sculptures and many other instruments and models designed by Leonardo da Vinci at the exhibition room on the first floor. There is also a large globe, as well as antique telescopes. You can see plenty of materials of genius "Leonardo da Vinci".

It has also history museum section with the various exhibition rooms of mechanics. It's able to trace the history of mankind following each area with a theme like sound or light. Here would be a nice place to know Leonardo da Vinci's life and the development of science and technology at the time. Families, groups of school students and many people visit this interesting museum.
